Couples Counseling
We offer many services in the area of couples counseling. Couples are who we are and what we do. We know that relationships are the foundation of society and we aim to help you to find solutions and to make the necessary changes while loving yourself and your partner more than ever before.. Let us help you make your relationship a lovely relationship.
Life Coaching Services Offered
Life coach services are different from mental health therapy and are not covered under most insurances. Life coaching includes strategic planning, looking at various aspects of life including business and personal growth and determining which routes to take. This service can be offered for 45 minutes, 1 hour or 1.5 hours.
Mental Health Counseling
While all aspects of your health are important, having a stable and clear mind is the most important. As we function in different roles each day working with others in the community and in our homes it's imperative to our survival that we are able to communicate well and be rational.
We work with you to teach you: coping skills, ways to reduce stress, ways to see things rationally, troubleshooting, problem solving and more. By creating a plan to help you or your teens in a way that is simple and painless, you begin down a positive path towards stability and wellness. Â
Families are the backbone to the existence of mankind. While many external factors pull on the heartstrings of various family members, often we need to come together to remember our values and focus on the family being strong and committed. We would love to work with your family today, age 12 and up.
Group Counseling Services offered:
Group sessions are 50 minutes in length and there must be 4 people to constitute a group. If you're interested in group counseling using cash or insurance pay, please click here to express an interest.
Mental health services are usually covered through insurance and all services are covered by cash payment. Please verify that the services you need are covered under your policy. Know your benefits and eligibility.

1. How do I schedule an appointment?

2. What will be needed when I call?
A. Your name, date of birth, email and phone number.
3. What ages do you serve?
A. Right now we serve ages 12+
4. What regions do you serve?
A. We serve Texas, Delaware, New Mexico, Rhode Island and international countries.
5. May I have virtual therapy while I'm driving?
A. No. You may be parked in your vehicle but not driving while on a virtual session.
6. I need family therapy and one of the children involved is under 12. Can we still be seen?
A. You may still be seen.
7. I am a well known person and keeping my business discreet is important. Will your office keep my visits discreet?
A. HIPAA (the insurance portability act) requires that we do. Your business is our business.
8. Do you take medicare?
A. At this time there is legislation taking place to put this option in place.
9. How can I find out if The Trahan Therapy Center or Shana Trahan is in network with my insurance?
A. Please call the customer service number on the back of your card.
10. Which insurances do you take?

A. Most standard Visa, American Express, etc.
12. How long is the process to be seen? A. It takes up to 48 work week hours to process your paperwork and get you seen.
13. Do you handle disability claims?
A. Yes.
14. Do you handle mediations?
A. Yes, we do!
